Marie Curie’s birthday
Marie Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish physicist and chemist who undertook groundbreaking research on radiation. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific disciplines – both physics and chemistry.
