Anne Frank’s Birthday
Anne Frank (1929-1945) was a German Jewish girl forced into hiding along with her family in the Netherlands where they had fled from the Nazis during the Holocaust. They were eventually discovered and she died in a Nazi concentration camp in February 1945. In hiding, she wrote a diary which was published after World War Two and is well-known across the world.
