Start of Advent
Advent, in the Christian religion, is the period from the fourth Sunday before Christmas until Christmas itself and is a time of preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated with Advent calendars, wreaths, and the lighting of Advent candles on each Sunday before Christmas.
